Based on combined ISO 9001 and Lifts Ordinance SR 930.112 certification, the company is able to carry out final inspections and issue the declaration of conformity for the lift independently.

Outcome

High flexibility for final acceptance, conformity declaration and commissioning, since there is no requirement for these activities to be performed by a third party company thanks to internal issuance. Guarantees of expertise within the company and an economic advantage thanks to savings on the costs of external parties. SQS is involved in Swiss industry and provides input in the fields of standardisation and the development thereof.

Target groups

Companies that develop, build, install lifts and put them into service, as well as those that maintain lifts.

Validity

3 years - there is an annual audit to ensure that standards are being maintained and a recertification audit after 3 years.

Recognition

The SQS certificate of conformity with SR 930.112 has national recognition.

Combinations

ISO 9001 (quality management) certification is a prerequisite for the SR 930.112 certificate to be issued successfully. Combinations, such as with ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) are recommended.
