Incentive

This ISO standard has been established in collaboration with INTERGRAF, the international confedera-tion for the printing and allied industries a.s.b.l. in Brussels. The motivation for companies of the security printing industry to achieve certification according to this international standard is mainly based on the fact to demonstrate towards its customer and towards state controlled institutions the ownership of an internationally recognized security management system according to the latest technical achievements. The certification is taking place based on internationally recognized criteria of INTERGRAF a.s.b.l. in Brussels. These INTERGRAF certification requirements, in short ICR, are exclusively available after a successful screening by INTERGRAF and they are strictly confidential.

Outcome

The ISO 14298:2013 certificate is certifying a world-wide recognition as a security printing operator. The certificate guarantees the review of the safety aspects and the management system by an independent third party (reduction of eternal audits).

Companies which are world-wide active in the field of security printing.

Validity

The INTERGRAF certificate is valid for three years - annual surveillance audits and after three years a re-certification audit are conducted in the scope of continuous improvement

The INTERGRAPH certificate is internationally valid and world-wide recognized.

The ISO 14298 is combinable with ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO/IEC 27001 (information security management), GoodPriv@cy® (data protection), FSC COC (certification of wood and paper processing companies).
