DPG colour system certification
Certification of the management system operated by printing companies with regard to tin and label colours under the deposit scheme as required by Deutsche Pfandsystem GmbH
Incentive
The certification is mandatory for companies which print labels or tins with the DPG label (deposit label).
Outcome
The certificate is a guarantee of eligibility for the procurement and use of the safety colour.
Target groups
Printing firms and tin manufacturing companies
Validity
Level 1 = 6 months
Level 2 = 12 months
Recognition
The SQS certificate relating to the DPG certification guidelines is recognised in Germany.
Combinations
Level 1 certification (safety certification) is followed 6 months later by Level 2 certification (process certification), then Level 2 is reviewed every 12 months.
